This Blog is Sketch.

Just a fair warning from an artist who has never been quite able to stay committed to regular blog posting-this blog is definitly sketch. Truely though, I’ve been interested in taking my content creation back into my own hands. It would be nice to have the flexibility to post in whatever format I wish in a dedicated space of my own.

So, here’s what you can expect: Short blurbs, image only posts, definitly some sketchy sketchbook posts, maybe video content here and there, as well as occassional deeper insights into my mind (adventurer beware) and process. I’ll be using this space as an extension of my own personal artist’s journal, and you get to come along for the ride.

A growing pile of tiny paintings. A messy art table is a happy art table.

An early study sketch for The Forest For The Trees (Asian Elephant).
A preliminary sketch of Little Bear.

It all starts with drawing. Usually, a sad-looking scribble.

A small preliminary color study in colored pencil, without stripes, or the tiger's face for I Don't Want To Live In A World Without Tigers (Siberian Tiger).
